What is a Retreat?
A Retreat is a time away from our normal routine to be with God: reflect on our relationship with God; to spend time in prayer both privately and communally; to open ourselves to the Holy Spirit; to talk about, reflect on and celebrate our faith!
It’s a time when younger students, older students and adults have a chance to share their faith-stories and build relationships of trust. It is a great opportunity for the Chaplaincy Leader to get to know the students more personally and students get to know the Chaplaincy Leader. It is a time when together we consider our personal relationship with God, as well as our place and role in the Church.
